Whether it will feel like summer or fall, the Culinary Fox Cafe' will be having a Fish Fry this Friday, October 16th. Chef Gene's extra specials this week are European Lake Perch and a new item, New Orleans Jumbo Shrimp Po' Boy. Our regular Fish Fry menu includes a 2-piece Fried Haddock, Fried Haddock Sandwich, Baked Haddock and Fried Fantail Shrimp. All Fish Fry dinners are served with a choice of potato; garlic oven-roasted wedges or boiled whole potatoes with butter and parsley, coleslaw, roll and butter. Tomorrow, Friday, August 7th, is the day! 17th Annual Anniversary BBQ 11:30-6:30. Chef Gene has been busy all week smoking ribs, brisket, pork belly, chickens and turkey legs. All meals come with beans, corn on the cob and coleslaw. Don't miss this once-a-year event!

To get to Larkin Avenue in Elgin, you can take the Metra train to the Elgin station and walk west on Highland Avenue for about 15 minutes until you reach Larkin Avenue. Alternatively, you can take the Pace bus and get off at the intersection of Larkin and Highland.
If you are driving, take the I-90 E towards Elgin and exit onto Route 31/North State Street. Make a left onto Highland Avenue and then a right onto Larkin Avenue. There is parking available along the street or in nearby parking lots.
