This cake was giving fiesta vibes from the very first swirl of buttercream!

A little decorating tip: before piping an embroidery design, lightly mark your pattern with a scribe needle. It makes placement so much easier, and if you make a mistake, it’s simple to smooth out and start again before committing with buttercream.

Watch this First Rodeo cake come to life 🤠
For the bottom tier, I turned the cake into a giant hay bale with all the texture details, while the middle tier got the cutest gingham pattern to tie the whole western theme together!
This sweet first birthday cake was such a fun one to decorate, and I’m obsessed with how adorable it turned out!
First rodeo but definitely not my first time falling in love with a theme 😍

Option 1: Public Transport
Take the Red Line train to Argyle Station, and then walk west on Argyle Street for 5 minutes. Turn left onto N Broadway and continue walking for another 10 minutes until you reach the dessert shop/restaurant.

Option 2: Driving/Parking
If driving, take Lake Shore Drive to Foster Avenue, exit and head west. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach N Broadway, then turn left. The dessert shop/restaurant will be on your right-hand side after a few blocks. Parking is available on the street or in nearby paid parking lots/garages.
