From weighing gold dust in Ghana to sitting behind the bar at The Paw, this little monkey has made quite the journey. Purchased from a swap meet in DUMBO, New York City, this Akan goldweight traveled home to Chicago, finding a perch on our bar.

⚽🌍🏴Scotland's World Cup dream is alive.
Last Saturday, Scotland earned its first World Cup victory in 36 years, defeating Haiti 1-0 and taking sole possession of first place in Group C after Brazil and Morocco played to a draw.
Tomorrow, the Scots take on Morocco in a crucial Group C showdown—and what better place to watch the game than at The Monkey's Paw.

For those traveling by public transportation, take the Brown line to the Southport stop. From there, head north on Southport Avenue and you will find the restaurant on your left.
If you are driving, exit Lake Shore Drive at Belmont Ave and head west until you reach Ashland Ave. Take a left on Ashland Ave and then turn right onto Roscoe St. Finally, take a left onto Southport Ave and the restaurant will be on your right.
