Tizo Coffee, founded in 2025, brings together two passions: roasting and music production. Sourcing beans from Mexico, Tizo aims to showcase the quality and work ethic Mexican producers have to offer. While valuing the impact music has in creating an atmosphere in cafes, Tizo creates original compositions to accompany your brewing and tasting experience.

Raised in Chicago, founder Christopher Vargas became a student of the craft in 2020. He started by working at M Coffee, where he learned the fundamentals of roasting, before moving on to , .coffee , and currently serving at Drip Collective.

Hailing from Chicago, CTRLZORA is an event (THE COWRIE) curator, Bridgeport Records event and music director, DJ, producer, musician, and dance music equitist from Chicago. They aim to contribute to keeping the electronica dance scene alive and soulful through house, techno, jazz, funk, world music, and more. CTRLZORA carries a sound that cannot be confused for anything short of authentic and raw, spanning from the furthest corners of Midwestern dance music all the way to the expansive sounds of the African diaspora and beyond, often collaborating with the creators of the original Warehouse and Music Box Chicago, and US Studios, prior to those. Paying homage to the history and liberation of music within communities of color across genres is their central focus, alongside perpetuating the tradition of house music in its originator, Chicago, and black and q***r culture. They’ve spearheaded activism efforts to preserve historical venues of Chicago like The Post and The Warehouse, pushing to keep the integrity and history of the music’s roots alive. They have also participated in panels and have been invited for lectures on the subject of Black Social and Cultural intersections in dance music and gatherings in the midwest and beyond.

Tommy Kladis is a disc jockey, producer, instrumentalist and arts organizer. As a crate digger and vinyl-first DJ, Kladis is constantly diving into the never-ending well of musical expression, curating his findings and translating them into sets that produce uplifting and inspiring moments for anyone who’s curious enough to listen. In his DJ sets and original music, Kladis blends sounds from different eras, places and genres to guide listeners through dynamic musical journeys. Kladis djs regularly throughout Chicago and the midwest including his monthly dance party, Music Time with Friends. MTwF was founded in 2017 while Tommy was living in Flint and has continued in Chicago since 2022.

To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with to design our dream setup. Our DJ booth is outfitted with four KLH Model Three speakers, Pioneer DJ PLX-1000 turntables, a DJM-250MK2 mixer, and JBL IRX115S 15” woofers, delivering a balanced sound with deep, forceful bass. The result? A rich, immersive listening experience that truly brings Drip to life. Every Saturday and Sunday, our weekly Hot Drip Session transforms the space, inviting selectors to share the music they love in an environment built for pure sonic enjoyment.
