To get to the café located at And Woodlawn in Chicago, there are a few options for transportation. If you prefer to drive, take Lake Shore Drive and exit at 47th St. Turn left onto 47th St and continue straight until you reach Woodlawn Ave. Take a right turn on Woodlawn Ave and continue driving until you reach the café location.
For public transit options, take the Metra Electric commuter train line to the 51st/53rd St-Hyde Park station. From there, transfer to CTA bus route #15 via Cottage Grove or #4 via King Drive going southbound towards Lake Michigan. Get off at 47th St and Woodlawn Ave and walk for a few minutes until you reach the café location.
If traveling by CTA 'L' train, take the Green Line and exit at Garfield station. Then transfer to CTA bus route #55 toward Museum of Science & Industry. Get off at 55th St and Lake Park Ave, then transfer to another bus like #171 or #172 connected with the University of Chicago shuttle buses that stop near Café Shira's whereabouts.
As for parking options nearby, street parking is available but limited. There are also paid parking options available in the area with several lots within walking distance of the café location.
