GARY, WHAT A WEEKEND! AND WE'RE NOT DONE YET
Two incredible days of Black cinema, beautiful connections, inspiring filmmakers, and conversations that remind us why we gather. The energy has been amazing, and we're bringing it all home today!
It's CLOSING DAY at the 16th Annual Gary International Black Film Festival.
We've got another exciting day of films, including more world premieres from our talented Reel Rundown Gary filmmakers (2pm)
At 5 PM, join us for our Awards Ceremony (free). We're celebrating the filmmakers who moved us, surprised us, and reminded us of the power of storytelling.
We're excited to welcome celebrity guest host Taylor Iman and to honor Jafar Jackson and Mr. Donald L. Thompson
🎥 Then we're closing out the festival with a special first look at A GOOD HAND WASTED directed by Rhyan LaMarr and starring Academy Award Nominee Terrence Howard and featuring Gary's own Giovanni Watson
Come celebrate this extraordinary weekend with us. Bring a friend, meet a filmmaker, and be part of the magic.
