There’s a feeling when you know you got it.
The photograph. The frame. The idea that started as a conversation and suddenly exists in the world.
That feeling is why we make things.
To turn an idea into something you can see. Something you can feel. Something that makes someone, somewhere, stop for a second. Then maybe look again.

Some places stay with you.
A view you can still picture. A feeling you didn’t know you needed. The person who made you feel genuinely cared for. A trip that somehow became part of your story.
We’ve built a career around places like these and the people who make them unforgettable.
Maybe that’s why we still feel lucky every time we get to help tell their stories.

Opened in 2002, Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile’s unmistakable glass building was designed by French architect Jean-Paul Viguier as a triangular prism, with a dramatic “prow” extending over the street.
But the hotel is more than a pretty façade. It’s a mountain of fresh towels, room service in a robe and the team that always seems to knock at just the right time.We captured the experience from sidewalk to suite, with a wink along the way.

A decade of Smyth can be measured in a lot of ways. Stars earned. Dishes created and recreated. Ingredients discovered. Farmers who became collaborators, colleagues who became friends and thousands of guests welcomed into the open kitchen to celebrate moments big and small.
But listening to Chef John Shields reflect on the anniversary, what stands out most is that Smyth has never really been about arriving somewhere. It’s about staying curious enough to keep going. To keep creating. Keep learning. Keep evolving.
Ten years in. Still becoming.

At 6 PM every day, The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland’s TURN Bar + Kitchen sounds its steam whistle to officially send off the workday, a nod to the city’s manufacturing and steel heritage.
Then the cocktails come out, the ingredients get a little carried away (in all the best ways) and dinner unfolds from there.
We captured where the evening takes you.

For Indienne Restaurant Chicago and Indienne NYC’s Melon Sol Kadi, ripe summer melon, coconut milk and tart kokum sorbet come together through Chef Sujan Sarkar’s own point of view, rooted in his native Kolkata, sharpened in Michelin-starred kitchens in London and now expressed through Indian flavors and French technique.
We got a closer look at what goes into it, one layer at a time.

Chef John Manion’s take on Argentine asado is centered around a custom 12-foot live-fire hearth, where nearly 90% of El Che Steakhouse & Bar’s menu is cooked over wood and charcoal. Pair that with what’s believed to be the only all-South American wine list in the U.S. and it’s easy to see why people come back.
It’s just as much a place to celebrate as it is to grab dinner. We helped bring that story to more tables.

There's something about OLIO E PIÙ Chicago in Chicago’s River North that makes you want to stay a little longer. Maybe it's the house-made pastas. Maybe it's the century-old European wine bar, the antique chandeliers or the warmth of the trattoria itself. Inspired by La Dolce Vita, every detail works together to make the experience feel unmistakably Italian.
The meal eventually ends. The feeling doesn't. We helped preserve it.
