No. 1 in North America.
For and and Karen Urie Shields, that title means a lot more than a ranking.
It represents ten years of constantly refining, rethinking and pushing forward. Thousands of services. Relationships with farmers, fishermen and producers operating at the highest level of their craft. A team that shows up every day asking how the experience can be even better than it was yesterday.
Now, as Smyth celebrates its 10th anniversary, has named it the best restaurant in North America. Proof that extraordinary things happen when talented people dedicate themselves to a shared craft.
We’re honored to help tell the story.

Some memories don’t feel big while they’re happening. They look more like this: sunset over the Pacific, s’mores by the fire and a quiet moment on a 150-foot bluff above Salt Creek Beach at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, opened in 1984 and still deeply tied to Dana Point’s surf culture, right down to the vintage boards displayed throughout the resort.
We helped preserve it as it unfolded.

Inside Andaz Savannah, Alfredo Martínez’s mural, born from Savannah’s First Friday art scene, moves through the stairwell in a mix of local plants, sea life and shifting, almost origami-like forms. It’s the kind of piece you don’t just look at, you move through it.
Set in the heart of Ellis Square, it’s a stay that brings Savannah’s creative spirit to life, sometimes more literally than expected.

Good beef doesn’t just happen. It starts at R-C Ranch, founded in 2010 by Ryan Cade and Blake Robertson, where American Wagyu is raised slow (26–30 months) for the kind of marbling chefs chase. You see the care out there and it sticks with you. Then it shows up at Fearing's Restaurant, where that same respect carries through every cut, every plate.
A lot of hands. One outcome. We just helped tell the story.

The Riverwalk doesn’t just sit outside at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. It shows up everywhere, from the views to a pool that feels like it flows right from it. Since opening in 1992, the hotel has balanced its scale with a real focus on its environment, cutting emissions by over 40% along the way.

Even a simple “Do Not Disturb” has a way of spilling over at The Kimpton Gray Hotel, into slower mornings, clearer heads and a kind of calm that sticks. Housed in an 1894 landmark by William Le Baron Jenney, with its original Georgia gray marble carefully restored, it’s a space built to last and to give something back.
We helped show how it grows.

Nick brings the pizza: Giordano's Pizza, 1974, South Side, double crust, extra cheese. Renato brings dessert: Oberweis, 1915 roots, glass bottles and ice cream that doesn’t mess around (18% butterfat, if you’re asking).
Naperville’s about to get both at once. And we helped capture the move-in.

Inside each room at Thompson Chicago , artist Jenny Vyas’ work explores the beauty of complex human emotion: a woman at ease in her own skin. Just steps from Lake Michigan, that sense of calm and confidence carries beyond the canvas and into the entire experience.
Stories don’t always stay inside the frame, so we captured it as it moved.

Hosted by Stock Mfg. Co. at Camp Wandawega, this annual jamboree brings together chefs from across Chicago, trading ideas and reconnecting with the kind of food that started it all. Between the live-fire cooking, lake swims and late-night bonfires, it’s less about the menu and more about the people behind it.
Put a group of great chefs in the woods and something special happens. We just helped capture how it all comes together.

Tulips take over the facade at InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile, a building that’s been evolving since 1929, when it first opened as the Medinah Athletic Club with a junior Olympic pool and a gold-domed tower once imagined as a mooring mast for blimps.
Growth here isn’t seasonal, it’s continuous. Captured as it blooms, then shared far beyond it.

At Sepia, Pastry Chef Erin Cobbler revisits a French classic, her Sourdough Crepe Cake, reworking something old into something entirely new. It mirrors the space itself: a former 1890s print shop, where history is preserved, then reimagined.
Turns out, the best ideas don’t disappear, they just evolve.

Written in flame.
Chef John Asbaty and Co-Owner Alain Uy carry the spirit of The Golden Ox forward at Ox Bar & Hearth, where fire shapes the menu and a legacy takes new form. The identity we crafted follows that same thread, built from the hearth up.

Before the cafe, there was already a story.
Named for Chef Zach Engel's youngest daughter, with murals by his sister, Cafe Yaya has always been about what’s passed down, shared and built together. You can feel it in the hands behind each pastry from Mary Eder-McClure and in a team close enough to pass a baguette “mic” and call it normal. One year in, it shows: what’s created together tends to last, captured in motion as it happens.

Here, traditions grow into entire worlds.
Washington D.C.’s cherry blossom season began in 1912 with a gift of more than 3,000 trees from Tokyo, a symbol of friendship that still shapes the city each spring. At The St. Regis Washington, D.C., Executive Pastry Chef Karen Yang translates that story into the Cherry Blossom Tea, an experience shared through our channels.

Rooted in place. Grown through people.
At Burl Evanston, Chef Tom Carlin and Rachel Canfora-Carlin's Rule of 80 means at least 80% of the menu comes from Midwestern farms and makers, an ecosystem that shapes both the food and the identity system we designed to reflect it.

Every dish starts as an idea.
With MiamiFruit's passion fruit as the spark, Chef John Shields builds something entirely new at Smyth: a kombu and pistachio tart layered with green tea, kombu jam and pistachio praline—imagination made edible, documented from process to plate.
