On Sunday, June 14, we’re hosting an exclusive afternoon conversation right here at The Loyalist. Chicago’s own culinary powerhouse Chef John Shields () is sitting down with celebrated journalist, NYT contributor, and premier burger devotee Maggie Hennessy () to dissect the history of America’s favorite handheld—and the meteoric rise of our very own Dirty Burg (turned OG).

Kickoff features a reception with passed canapés (yes, there will be OG sliders) and a cash bar.

To get to the American restaurant and New American restaurant located on North Ada Street in Chicago, there are several options available for transportation.

Public Transport:
- Take the CTA Blue Line to Division Station. From there, you can transfer to the #70 Division bus heading westbound towards California. Get off at Ashland & Walton and walk about 5 minutes north on N Ashland Ave until you reach the intersection with W Fulton Market. Then turn left onto W Fulton Market and continue for another 2 blocks until you reach North Ada Street where the restaurants are located.

Driving/Parking:
- Head west on W Randolph St towards N Michigan Ave, then turn left onto N Halsted St. After driving for approximately 1 mile, turn right onto W Fulton Market and continue for another mile until you reach North Ada Street where the restaurants are located.
- Parking can be found in nearby public parking lots or on-street parking spots, which may have time restrictions and require payment during certain hours.
