This week at Happy Apple Pie Shop!
Wednesday and Thursday we'll have Lemon Chess Pies available in both regular and mini sizes. We'll also have a small amount of Lavender Lemon Chess pies available in the regular size.
Friday and Saturday we'll have Blueberry Pies available as summer continues to wind down.
Chicken Pot Pie and mini quiches will be available starting Wednesday until we sell out.
As always, our Signature Apple, Apple Crumble, and Chocolate Chess Pies will be available every day, along with Mini Apple and Chocolate pies!

Welcome, Margie Sprehe!
We're thrilled to welcome Margie Sprehe (she/they) as Pastry Chef & Program Manager at Happy Apple Pie Shop, LLC!
With more than 20 years of professional baking experience, Margie brings incredible culinary talent and a passion for mentoring others. Throughout their career, they've worked at some of Chicagoland's most beloved bakeries and restaurants, including Dinkel's Bakery, The Signature Room at the 95th, and most recently spent nearly a decade leading bakery teams at Whole Foods.
At the Happy Apple, Margie will oversee the bakery's day-to-day operations while helping employees of all abilities build valuable culinary, customer service, and hospitality skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Please join us in giving Margie a warm welcome as we begin this exciting new chapter. We can't wait for you to experience the delicious creations, fresh ideas, and joyful spirit they bring to The Happy Apple Pie Shop!

We're proud to share that The Happy Apple Pie Shop has officially joined the Easterseals Serving Chicagoland and Rockford family.
For nearly a decade, you've made the Happy Apple so much more than a bakery. Together, we've built a place where homemade pies, inclusive employment, and community come together to create something truly special.
As founder Michelle Mascaro begins her well-earned retirement, we're honored that she has entrusted us with carrying this incredible legacy forward. We're also grateful that Michelle will remain with us as a consultant throughout the transition, helping preserve the traditions, quality, and welcoming spirit you've always loved.
And while the heart of the Happy Apple isn't changing, we're excited to bring you even more to savor. As we prepare for our grand reopening, we're introducing exciting collaborations with award-winning chefs Sarah Stegner and Michael Ciapciak, the Jacques Pépin Foundation, Pastry Chef & Program Manager Margie Sprehe, and Dark Matter Coffee.
Most importantly, every pie, pastry, and cup of coffee will continue to support meaningful employment opportunities for people of all abilities.

To reach the dessert shop and dessert restaurant in Harrison, Oak Park, you can take the Green Line train to the Harlem/Lake station, which is a few blocks away. Alternatively, you can take the Blue Line train to Forest Park station and then take the 307 Bus towards 31st St & Desplaines Ave, getting off at Harrison & Austin bus stop. If driving or parking, head north on Austin Blvd until you reach Harrison Street; turn left onto Harrison Street and continue for several blocks until you reach your destination.
