After 10 years, it’s time for me to share some news that’s both emotional and surreal to write. Riobamba will be closing on April 4th.
When I opened these doors, I had no idea what the next decade would look like. What I found was a community that embraced us, supported us, and made this place feel like so much more than a restaurant. You trusted us with your family dinners, your celebrations, your regular Tuesday nights, and everything in between. That’s something I’ll never forget.
To everyone who ordered tacos from the truck, brought friends in, or simply stopped by to say hello — thank you. You helped build this place with me. Every conversation, every familiar face, every bit of support over the years meant more than you know.
This chapter is closing, but I’m walking away proud of what we created together and grateful for every single person who made Riobamba what it was.

For those who would like to drive, from I-294, they should take exit #48 and head north on Waukegan Rd. The destination will be on the right side of the road. There is ample parking available nearby, including street parking and paid parking lots in the area.
