Hey Chicago! is next Friday, September 18th, and we’re celebrating with a Burger Battle: Dove’s Luncheonette vs. Big Star Wicker Park! 🍔
You can get both burgers at either spot, so stop by Dove’s or Big Star and do your own taste test:
🍔 Dove’s OK Onion Burger — Kilgus beef, grilled onions, bread & butter pickles, American cheese, comeback sauce, sesame seed bun.
🍔 Big Star Smash Burger — Double beef, crispy Chihuahua cheese, special sauce, lettuce, onion, tomato.

To reach the bar and Mexican restaurant located on N Damen Avenue in Chicago, there are several options for both public transport and driving.
If you're using public transportation, you can take the Blue Line subway to the Damen stop, and then transfer to bus number 50 towards Clybourn/North. Get off at North/Damen and walk a few blocks south to reach your destination.
Alternatively, if you're driving, you can take I-90/94 and exit at North Ave. Head west on North Ave until you reach Damen Avenue, then turn right onto Damen. There is paid street parking available nearby.
