Behind every meal we serve is a team that keeps showing up for each other. ❤️
The past few days reminded me just how much that matters. When someone couldn’t make it in, someone else stepped up — sometimes with very little notice — and simply said, “I can cover.”
Running a restaurant comes with a lot of unexpected moments, but having people who are willing to help each other makes all the difference.
This Labor Day, I’m especially grateful for the people behind alice & friends.
Thank you for showing up, stepping up, and taking care of each other. We truly couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

THIS WEEKEND: The Edgewater Music Fest will take place August 28th - 30th in Chicago on Broadway between Thorndale and Ardmore avenues.
The street festival, which is hosted by The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce will have more than 30 live performances across two stages as well as small business vendors, local food, and family-friendly activities.
Even though we’re not an official vendor this year, we still want to support the event. Plus, our Chicago location is right at the door of the festival if you’d like to stop by.
