The bride wanted everything to feel organic, romantic, and full of nature-inspired detail.
For their wedding cake, we added delicate dried and pressed flowers all around the design to create a soft wildflower feeling that blended beautifully with the venue’s greenery and elegant atmosphere.
To make the dessert table feel even more personal, guests were also welcomed with our signature cookie sandwiches prepared individually for the celebration.
One of my favorite things is seeing how all the little details come together so naturally within the space

Some designs are created to feel as though they naturally belong within the space around them.
For this wedding cake, the bride envisioned florals that felt softly gathered from nature — delicate pressed flowers placed all around the cake to create an organic, elegant, and timeless look. Gentle blooms and wild greenery were thoughtfully arranged to echo the beauty of the venue itself, where candlelight, florals, and natural textures filled the entire room with romance.
Every detail was designed to feel harmonious as though the cake had quietly grown from the celebration around it.
One of my favorite parts of working with couples is hearing the small details that matter most to them, and transforming those feelings into something meaningful and beautifully personal.

When we received this order, it was to celebrate a mother’s birthday a moment filled with love and intention. What made it especially meaningful was her daughter’s wish to have the cake designed in soft pink and white, her mother’s favorite colors.
To honor that vision, I recommended an elegant, refined approach delicate stencil detailing paired with fresh flowers cascading gently down the side of the cake, creating a sense of softness and quiet sophistication.
Every element was chosen to feel graceful, personal, and deeply connected to the woman it was made for.

To get to the S Cedar Avenue location in Wood Dale, there are several options for public transport. One could take the Metra Milwaukee District West Line to either the Wood Dale or Bensenville station and then walk south on Irving Park Road for about 10 minutes until reaching S Cedar Avenue. Alternatively, one could take the PACE bus route 834 with stops at both the Wood Dale and Bensenville stations that will drop off at S Cedar Avenue.
For driving and parking, from I-290/Eisenhower Expressway exit onto US-20 W/Lake Street. Turn left onto Irving Park Road and continue south until reaching S Cedar Avenue. There is a small parking lot available next to the bakery or street parking on S Cedar Avenue.
