All good things must come to an end. After seven amazing years serving you, we have made the decision to move on from the restaurant and ownership of El Carrito will be changing.

We are so proud of what we were able to accomplish on our little corner of Lincoln and Peterson. From being featured on "Chicago's Best" and recognized for our tortas in the to donating to various charitable organizations within the community, it made all of the hard work worth it.

Special thank you to all of our amazing staff over the years, our wonderful families, friends, and of course our community of customers.

We hope that you can continue to support El Carrito as they begin a new era under new ownership and we hope that you can visit us next door at Foremost Liquors because El Carrito will still be BYOB, just saying 😉
