We are bringing back the March Cookie Madness Gelato Flavor Contest!! Black Dog Gelato is supporting our local Girl Scout troops this season by hosting the 2nd annual March Cookie Madness Gelato Flavor Contest! 🍪

The Top 8 Flavors (the I’ll-Eat 8 Sampler Box) and the Top 4 Flavors (the Featured 4 Pints) will be available for pre-order in March!

Your objective? Create a new gelato flavor using your favorite Girl Scout cookie – pick a base gelato flavor (like chocolate, for example), add some mix-ins or swirl-ins (up to 3), do your best to describe your gelato vision, and finish it off with a creative name for the flavor!✍

The Goose Island Bourbon County Stout CollaborationSeries is back!

To celebrate the release of the 2021 Bourbon County Stout, we had the honor of making a gelato flavor with the 2021 BCS that has notes of Strawberry Shortcake. 🍰

This creamy infused flavor is made with dairy free coconut gelato blended with strawberries and swirls of strawberry jam, and topped with crunchy coconut flakes.

To get to the ice cream shop and ice cream parlor at N Damen Avenue in Chicago, you can take the CTA Blue Line to Damen Station and then transfer to the #50 Damen bus going southbound. Get off at the intersection of Damen and North Avenues and walk a few blocks east to reach your destination.

Alternatively, if you are driving, take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) and exit at North Avenue. Drive east on North Avenue until you reach Damen Avenue, then turn left. There is street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood, but be sure to check street signs for any restrictions or parking permits required.
