Sassy 009 is the shape-shifting project from Oslo-based producer, songwriter and vocalist Sunniv a Lindgård. Her forthcoming album Dreamer+ is steered by freshly distorted vocals and elements of grunge, along with shoegaze, ‘90s beatronica and gauzy hyperpop. It is a record of self-discovery and self-effacement at once, studded with guest contributions from Blood Orange, BEA1991 and Yunè Pinku.

Dandelions After Dark is the official launch of Deangelo and the Dandelion, a children’s book rooted in self-worth, softness, and resilience on Chicago’s West Side, written by Roy Kinsey, founder of Rapbrary. The evening begins with a screening of Rapbrarian: Reading Came First, a documentary exploring the intersections of hip-hop, literacy, and community, and the vision behind Rapbrary. From there, guests can experience original artwork with a DJ set by Ryan Sinclaire.

To get to the location you can take the CTA bus line 77, which stops at Belmont Avenue and Elston Avenue, then walk west on Belmont Avenue for about 4 blocks. Alternatively, you can take the CTA Brown Line train to the Belmont Station and then catch a bus heading west on Belmont Avenue. If driving, head west on Belmont Avenue from I-90/94 and look for parking options in the surrounding streets or paid parking lots nearby.
