This incident happened on Monday night 11/20/23.
For a myriad of reasons, doing business in downtown Chicago is tougher than ever. Usually we are worrying about more serious things like rising food and supply prices, inflation ramifications, keeping our place staffed and keeping our staff happy, navigating the complex system of increased oversight by local government, less traffic in the loop, and guests afraid of more serious crime in the area.
Which makes the entitlement and behavior of this particular person sting even more.
This man is a doctor- educated to the highest degree. In town meeting with other highly-educated and respected people from all around the world. And this is how he behaves.
I have reached out to Dr. Luis Alberto Cruz Vasquez on multiple platforms to make amends for this situation but he has not responded.

Chicago bars and restaurants saw customers return in 2022, but late-night hours are being cut as crowds empty out earlier than before the COVID-19 pandemic.
