12 years ago, opening a restaurant amidst a recession seemed like an impossible task. We pushed forward and beat the odds creating a successful and crazy dream with our family run business. 30 S. La Grange Road has been a part of our family since the beginning. Our children were born into this business. It is a fabric deeply woven in our journey and an emotional day. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to live our dream out here. We are flooded by the dozen years of memories and faces that filled our restaurant. Thank you for trusting us with all the milestones in your lives from weddings to babies to graduations and everything in between. Thank you. Our regulars became our friends, and we had the best time with you all. Thank you for allowing us to serve you up delicious memories.
All our Nicksons team is forever a part of our Nicksons family. We appreciate you taking this journey with us and all the ups and downs that came with it. Thank you.
I am sad to leave. I am also certain it is time. Both things are true. Today we say goodbye to 30 S. La Grange Road. We have made a lifetime of memories here.
We will miss seeing you all. For Nicksons, this is not a goodbye but a see you later. We look forward to the next chapter!

We were alerted that one of our Nicksons team has a suspected case of COVID-19. None of our guests were in close contact with the affected employee.
The safety of our guests and team remain our utmost priority. We are taking all necessary precautions and following CDC guidelines by closing until we can safely reopen.

To get to the American restaurant in La Grange, you can take the Metra BNSF line to the La Grange station and then walk about 10 minutes east on Burlington Avenue until you reach the restaurant. If you are driving, take La Grange Road (US-12) south and turn right onto Burlington Avenue. There is street parking available nearby, but there is also a public parking lot located just north of the restaurant off of Harris Avenue.
