Happy Friday from Spinning J. We're slinging guava grilled cheese sandos tonight (with capers and oregano), plus fennel and jicama salad with lime, mint, and maple shallot dressing. Plus SP68 Bianco by the glass, which really ties it all together, and brings me back to Sicily last fall with 🥰

The American restaurant is located in the neighborhood of Logan Square on N California Avenue in Chicago. For those using public transportation, take the Blue Line to Logan Square station and walk south along Milwaukee Avenue for about 15 minutes until you reach N California Avenue. Alternatively, take bus route 56 and get off at the intersection of Logan Boulevard and N California Avenue, from where it's only a short walk.
For drivers, take either the Kennedy Expressway or Lake Shore Drive to get to downtown Chicago before heading west on Fullerton until you reach Logan Square. Free street parking can be found on side streets near the restaurant or there is paid parking at a nearby lot located at 2652-58 North Milwaukee Avenue.
