Yesterday in a joint effort between Blue Demon Hospitality and the Center for Counseling & Wellness at DePaul (CCW), we spotlighted CCW's new program, "Blue Demon Strong".

CCW had a table that provided support resources and swag set up in the dining hall while the dining hall served a specialty pumpkin curry chicken grain bowl at the Windy City Eats station. Thank you to everyone that stopped by and helped spread positivity!

Yesterday we hosted our Foodie Favorites Carnival event at the dining hall! The carnival themed decorations and menu offered a fun escape from classes, and we appreciate everyone who stopped by one of our stations. At lunch we had our Oktoberfest celebration! We decorated the dining hall and had a themed lunch with specials such as the Currywurst, potato pancakes, soft pretzels, and sauerbraten.

Today we're spotlighting our executive chef, Chef Michael Landini, at the Blue Demon Dining Hall. Chef Mike is the creative force behind our culinary operations at DePaul.

For lunch he crafted a butternut squash ravioli with a sage brown butter cream sauce. If you're quick, you still might be able to try a taste of this special dish before lunch ends!
