Statement on A Day Without Immigrants Protest
At La Michoacana DST we stand with the Latino community as we see the suffering and fear being inflicted to the family of immigrants. No human being should be treated as they are not worthy or out of place in a world of opportunity. We refuse to stay in silence and to contribute to an economy built on the work of immigrant and Latino families, where they have dismissed our humanity and efforts. That is why we will be closed Monday February 3rd in solidarity. Let this be a reminder that together we are better and we will not be silenced or marginalized!
En La Michoacana DST nos solidarizamos con la comunidad latina al ver el sufrimiento y el miedo que se le inflige a las familias inmigrantes. Ningún ser humano debe ser tratado como si no fuera digno o como si estuviera fuera de lugar en un mundo de oportunidades. Nos negamos a permanecer en silencio y a contribuir a una economía construida sobre el trabajo de las familias inmigrantes y latinas, donde han desestimado nuestra humanidad y nuestros esfuerzos. Es por eso que estaremos cerrados el lunes 3 de febrero en solidaridad. Que esto sea un recordatorio de que juntos somos mejores y no seremos silenciados ni marginados!

As a provider of the community we need your help we are short on workers since December of last year and as the weather gets better we have more clients but if we dont have enough workers it will change our work flow but if people are genuinely interested in working please do apply we would appreaciate the help thank you! We are very hard working people and we love to provide for the community and all we ask of the people in the community is to help us out a bit by sharing this post so we can have people to work.
