An important update from Cheesie's:

We are sad to share that Cheesie’s has officially closed its doors.

We want to share the honest truth about why we are closing. As a 20-year resident of Tinley Park who has proudly operated a business in this mall since 2010, I never expected our journey to end this way.

Following our name change, we faced a grueling six-month process to get our liquor and gaming licenses approved under the new name. Because we briefly listed the business for sale to see our options while bleeding money during the wait, our final hearing was abruptly canceled.

When we asked why, we were told by the administration that it simply caused "too much paperwork."
Operating without these essential licenses is a financial impossibility. It is incredibly disheartening to feel pushed out of the town I have done business in for 16 years due to administrative roadblocks. It genuinely feels like local leadership has run us out of town.

We are deeply disappointed by these actions but we are endlessly grateful to the community that has supported us. Thank you for everything.

While this chapter in Tinley Park is coming to an end, we would love to see you at our Crestwood location at 13326 S. Cicero - please come visit us there!

To get to S. Harlem in Tinley Park, you can take the Metra Electric District train and get off at the 179th Street Station. From there, head north on S. Harlem Avenue until you reach the destination.

If you prefer to drive, take I-57 and exit onto 159th Street going east. Turn right onto S. Harlem Avenue and continue north until you reach your destination. There is ample parking available in the surrounding area.
