Quiznos Quiznos was a sandwich shop, deli, and fast food restaurant located on W Higgins Road in Rosemont that opened in 1981. They offered toasted sandwiches, soups, and salads for lunch or dinner and provided food delivery and catering services. Despite their popularity on social media with new menu items such as the Kimchi Steak Philly, Lobster & Seafood salad, and various mashups, Quiznos has now closed permanently.

QUIZNOS COMING TO CALHOUN: It was confirmed at the Monday, Feb. 9, 2026 work session of the Calhoun City Council that Quiznos, a nationwide sub sandwich chain, is coming to Calhoun.

The restaurant will be located at 1503 Red Bud Road right off I-75 Exit 315, in the same building that houses a gas station and Marco's Pizza.

According to Calhoun Building Official Joey Moore, building and plumbing permits to licensed contractors were issued in December 2025. The plans have been reviewed and planed by Moore's office. The buildout is 1,880 square feet for a restaurant with a counter that offers takeaway service only; there will be no fixed seated dining area.

To get to the location on W Higgins Road in Rosemont, you can take public transportation by taking the Blue Line train towards O'Hare and getting off at the Rosemont station. From there, you can walk east on W Higgins Road for about 10 minutes until you reach your destination.

If driving, take I-90 and exit at River Road. Turn left onto River Road and then turn right onto W Higgins Road. The destination will be on your left-hand side. There is parking available in the lot next to the building.
