For more than 25 years, Buzz Café has been a cornerstone of Oak Park’s Arts District. A place where creativity, conversation, and community came together every day.
Since joining the Kribi Coffee family in 2023, we’ve been honored to carry that legacy forward, introducing new ideas while staying true to the spirit that has made Buzz so beloved.
As we look ahead, our focus turns toward sharing our coffee with more people and deepening our support for the farmers of the Cameroon Coffee Collective, whose work inspires everything we do.
Buzz Café’s final day of operation will be October 18, 2025. We’re hopeful another visionary will see the beauty and potential in this special place and continue its story in a new way. If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please reach out to [email protected].

We heard the kid's corner was sorely missed, and have been slowly bringing it back thanks to contributions from the community. New toys, a chalkboard wall, new books, and that's just the start! Come on by and bring the little ones on your next visit! :)

To get to the coffee shop and American restaurant at S Lombard Avenue in Oak Park, you can take the Green Line or Blue Line of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train and exit at the Harlem/Lake stop. Then walk south on Harlem Avenue until you reach S Lombard Avenue.
Alternatively, if driving, from the Eisenhower Expressway I-290, take the Harlem Avenue exit and head north. Turn right onto Ontario Street and then right onto Lombard Avenue. There is a public parking lot located behind the building.
