From downtown Chicago, take the Red Line subway northbound towards Howard and get off at the Granville station. From there, walk east on Granville Avenue and take a left onto Broadway Street. The Ethiopian restaurant and family style restaurant and cafe will be on your left.
If driving, take Lake Shore Drive northbound and exit at Foster Avenue. Turn right onto N Broadway Street and continue until you reach the Ethiopian restaurant and family style restaurant and cafe. There is street parking available nearby but it may be limited during peak hours, so it's recommended to arrive early or use a parking garage in the area.
