We always know how fortunate we are . Not because of one busy day or one busy week, but because after 23 years, people still continue to show up for us.❤️❤️
Whether you stop in every morning, once in a while, or only a few times a year, thank you. Every visit matters.
The reality is that owning a small business isn’t easy, and many great businesses are struggling right now, even closing their doors. 🥹😭We don’t take for granted that you’ve chosen to make Jitters part of your routine for more than two decades.🥰

This weekend was absolutely incredible!!!!
From the opening of the new City Square, to celebrating the 100th year of Rt66, to celebrating 100 years of the Rialto Square Theatre and today welcoming our new sculpture downtown to the city square and serving the artist and all the workers. It was a weekend we will never forget.
Thank you to everyone that supported us this weekend!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

After years of hard work, patience, and transformation, the City Square in downtown Joliet is finally reopening this week, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🙌
If you’ve been with us through this journey, you know it hasn’t always been easy. Between road closures, construction, and constant changes right outside our doors, there were definitely moments that tested us. But we stuck it out, believed in the vision, and kept showing up every single day.
And now… we’re finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. 💡
Downtown Joliet has always had something special! from its vibrant past to the heart and community that still lives here today. Watching it come back to life, being poured into and reimagined, has been incredible.
We are SO excited to welcome you all back to a refreshed, beautiful City Square and to continue being part of this amazing downtown community. ☕💛

To get to N Chicago Street in Joliet, there are a few options for public transport. One is to take the Metra Rock Island Line to the Joliet station and then walk south on Scott Street until you reach N Chicago Street. Another option is to take the Pace Bus #501 from the Joliet Transportation Center and get off at the corner of Jefferson Street and Chicago Street, where you can walk a couple of blocks south to reach N Chicago Street.
If driving, take I-80 east or west to Exit 130 for Houbolt Road/N Chicago Street. From there, head north on N Chicago Street until you reach your destination. There is street parking available along N Chicago Street as well as a public parking lot located at the corner of N Chicago Street and Washington Street.

Jitters on N Chicago Street in Joliet is a must-visit coffee shop and American restaurant. The unique historic space provides the perfect atmosphere to relax, work or socialize while enjoying a delicious coffee, smoothie or salad. The menu is diverse and offers something for everyone, including special sandwiches of the day like the Italian Combo panini and Jitters Antipasto sandwich. The drink of the day options are also impressive, with refreshing choices like Mango strawberry lemonade freeze and frozen hot chocolate (add some espresso…make it dirty). The cream of chicken rice soup is a must-try as well. The staff at Jitters are friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. With its prime location in downtown Joliet, Jitters Coffeehouse is definitely worth checking out!
