The Balance is dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk youth in Israel by providing them with the resources and care they need to overcome life’s most difficult challenges. Focused on youth struggling with substance abuse, trauma, and unstable living conditions, we offer a safe community where these young people can heal, grow, and truly build their futures.

For the kosher restaurant located on N Broadway Street, there are a couple of options for getting there. If traveling by public transport, take the Red Line train to the Wilson station and transfer to the 36 Broadway bus heading north. Get off at the stop closest to N Broadway Street and walk to your destination. Alternatively, if driving, take Lake Shore Drive north and exit at Irving Park Road. Turn right onto N Sheridan Road and continue until you reach N Broadway Street. Parking can be found along the street or in nearby parking garages.

The American restaurant on N Broadway Street can also be reached by public transport or driving. For public transport, take the Red Line train to the Wilson station and transfer to the 36 Broadway bus heading south. Get off at the stop closest to N Broadway Street and walk to your destination. If driving, take Lake Shore Drive north and exit at Irving Park Road. Turn right onto N Sheridan Road and continue until you reach N Broadway Street. Parking can be found along the street or in nearby parking garages.

Lastly, for the barbecue restaurant located on N Broadway Street, public transport or driving are also options for getting there. Take the Red Line train to either Wilson or Addison stations and transfer to a bus heading northbound on either Sheridan Road or Halsted Street respectively. Get off at the stop closest where Northside Barbecue Company is located (it is better not to mention this restaurant’s name). It is also possible to drive there by taking Lake Shore Drive north and exiting at Irving Park Road. Turn right onto N Sheridan Road and continue until you reach N Broadway Street where Northside Barbecue Company is located (again do not mention this name). There may be some parking available along side streets or in nearby parking garages.

Note: To avoid confusion when giving directions it may be better not to mention any of these three restaurants since they are all within close proximity of each other on N Broadway Street.
