Christmas of 2018, my now-husband Grant bought me a Cuisinart ice cream machine. Who knew the perfect gift would spark something so special to me? A month later, Liv a Little came to life.
Ice cream has been my favorite food since I was a little girl. Getting to create my own unique flavors and share them with people I love will always be one of my greatest accomplishments.
From delivering pints on Marquette’s campus, to going to ice cream school at Penn State, to getting on restaurant dessert menus, making extremely elaborate custom ice cream cakes, and traveling across the country with my dad to pick up a giant ice cream machine… the list goes on and on, and I am so freaking grateful for it all.
I have to be honest with myself here, it is time to close this magical chapter. I am a creative person, and in order for new doors to open, sometimes one has to close.
Thank you to everyone who bought a pint of ice cream, shared an ice cream cake, came to a pop-up, and became my foodie friends. The community Liv a Little built around me, especially during my time in MKE, is something I will never take for granted. Until next time my fellow sweet tooths!🍦💕
