We're excited to inform you that after months of remodeling, Hunan Inn will be reopening under new management on Tuesday, May 20 with a modernized dining room and an expanded menu. Stop by and enjoy an old favorite or try something new!

Important Notice
Dear Friends,
Happy Holidays! Thank you for your patience during our incredible Christmas Eve dinner rush. This year's Christmas Eve was likely our busiest day of all time! Please note, due to overwhelming capacity, we will be unable to offer delivery service on 12/31, New Year's Eve. If possible, please pick up or dine in with us instead. Additionally please note there will be greatly longer wait times between the hours of 4pm and 8pm that evening! Thank you.
We have a second bittersweet announcement as well, from owners Song and Joann:
We, Song and Joann, will be officially retiring on 1/1/25.
Thank you so much to the Palos community for allowing our family to serve you for the last 33 years! It has been Hunan Inn's privilege to host your birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, work lunches, dinner dates, and everything in between. We have loved meeting everyone and witnessing your families grow over the years. We will forever cherish the friendships we’ve made, the conversations we’ve shared, and the time we've spent together with you. Thank you for all of the love and support you have always given us and for making us a part of your lives!
New owners will be taking over the restaurant as the year begins and we are excited for this new chapter of Hunan Inn! The restaurant will be temporarily closed for remodeling starting January 1, 2025.
We hope you can stop by and have a warm meal with us to celebrate the end of 2024 and cheers to new beginnings.

Business will resume for Carry-Out and Contactless Delivery on Wednesday, July 7.

This year has been especially difficult for all, and we feel so lucky to have everyone's business and support. We are a small family-run restaurant and we could not do it without you. Thank you so much.
To those who ordered with us for dinner this New Year's Eve, we are very grateful for your patience and understanding as wait times rose during an unprecedentedly busy NYE dinner rush. Thank you. We look forward to serving you again!
Tomorrow, New Year's Day (1/1), we will be open for Pick-Up and No-Contact Delivery at our normal business hours. Any orders placed between about 5pm and 7:30pm: we kindly ask that you please allow extra time for your order to be completed.

If driving, take Harlem Ave and turn onto W College Dr towards the west direction. The restaurant is located on your right-hand side. Parking is available in the adjacent lot.
