🥂 60 YEARS OF BOBBY!🍷
Some people celebrate turning 60 with a nice dinner at Cafe Lucci.
Bobby went to Albania. 🇦🇱😂
Today we’re celebrating our owner, founder, w**e director, dad, resident comedian, professional storyteller, and the man who has been keeping Café Lucci well-fed, well-poured and laughing for the last 31 years.
If you know Bobby, you know there’s always a joke, always an opinion, and ALWAYS a bottle of w**e involved. 🍷
Since Bobby was born in 1966, we figured there was only one appropriate way to celebrate his 60th:

While Bobby is off celebrating in Albania, we’ll be doing what he taught us best here at Café Lucci — opening bottles.

🎉 Happy Birthday to our amazing General Manager, Jorge! 🎉
Today we’re celebrating someone who means so much to all of us at Cafe Lucci. Jorge started with our restaurant group nearly 10 years ago as a server at Bobby’s Deerfield, and through hard work, dedication, and heart, he has grown into the incredible leader he is today as General Manager of Cafe Lucci.
Jorge brings so much to our team every single day—his work ethic, loyalty, and genuine care for both our guests and staff make a lasting impact. We are incredibly thankful for everything he does and so proud to have watched him grow over the years. We hope you enjoy your day off—you’ve definitely earned it. And knowing Jorge, we’re pretty sure he’ll still find a way to fit in a workout… birthdays count as leg day too, right?

To reach the Italian restaurant on Milwaukee Avenue in Glenview via public transportation, take the Metra Union Pacific North Line to the Glen/N. Glenview stop and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the destination. Alternatively, one could take bus 423 or 234 to Waukegan/Milwaukee station and walk for about 15 minutes.
If driving, take the exit for Lake Avenue on I-94 and head west. Turn left on Waukegan Road and then right onto West Lake Avenue. Turn left onto Milwaukee Avenue and after a few blocks, you will find parking options near your destination.
