Hienie's is a classic American restaurant with roots dating back to 1947 when founder Henry McCarthy borrowed $500 to open a fresh fish store in Hammond Indiana. Hienie's Shrimp House became an instant success and eventually evolved into the family-run business it is today, spanning three generations across multiple locations including S Torrence Avenue and Orland.
