“Old School Charm Never Goes out of Style!!!
I was introduced to Boni Vino when I moved to Chicago from Boston in 1991, and I felt right at home with the fresh meals, pizza & specials. Above all else, the staff’s ability to make you feel at home is precious during these trying times. I moved overseas, and after my return back to the Windy City, I am happy that their still there and standing proud. I popped in today to reengage with one of my favorite secret spots in the City. Gail warmly greeted me at the door, and she took my order and enjoyed a drink while I waited for my meal to be prepared. We shared a couple of laughs until we were joined by several other patrons who also joined in the merriment. I am happy to report that the food is as good as I remember 😊. I strongly suggest you put this Chicago Institution back into your dining rotation.” July 2022

What people say
Family-style restaurants are a great way to enjoy a meal with your loved ones, and Boni Vino's Restaurant on W Van Buren Street in Chicago is no exception. This family-style Italian restaurant has been serving up fresh meals, pizza, and specials since 1991, and it's easy to see why it has become a Chicago institution.
One of the standout features of Boni Vino's is the staff's ability to make you feel at home. During these trying times, this is especially precious. Gail warmly greeted one customer at the door and took their order while they enjoyed a drink and waited for their meal to be prepared. They shared a couple of laughs until they were joined by several other patrons who also joined in the merriment.
But what about the food? According to one happy customer, "the food is as good as I remember." And with daily entrée specials like sautéed chicken breast served over a bed of sautéed fresh spinach topped with sun-dried tomatoes and roasted garlic, there's always something new to try.
If you're looking for an old-school charm that never goes out of style, then Boni Vino's Restaurant is definitely worth adding back into your dining rotation.
