One thing about this industry… the relationships matter just as much as the work. 🤍
So happy to have my girl from here in Chicago all the way from Kentucky for a little R&D weekend with her husband Chris. If you see them out in the city, show them some love. 🫶🏽
As she continues growing her business back home and I continue building here in Chicago, moments like this remind me how important it is to have people around you who truly understand the journey. The conversations, the ideas, the honesty, the encouragement… it all matters.
Honestly, the Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership program was one of the best things that could’ve happened to me because it connected me with women who genuinely want to see each other win. No competition, no gatekeeping — just constantly learning from one another and pushing each other forward.
That kind of community is rare, and I’ll never take it for granted. 🤍

This weekend tested us in every way possible… and somehow, Team Tacotlan still showed up with heart every single time. 🌮❤️
From Tacotlan ➡️ Forever Mine ➡️ Sueños… all hands were on deck. Long hours, sore feet, exhaustion hitting us in waves, cold weather, rain, nonstop movement — but nobody quit. Everybody pulled their weight. Everybody pushed through. And that’s what makes this team so special.
The energy we bring, the resilience we bring, the “figure it out and keep going” mentality… you can’t teach that. I watched this team hustle through one of our biggest weekends yet, and I couldn’t be more proud.
And to every single customer that stopped us this weekend — thank you. Seriously. Hearing your stories, hearing that you’ve followed us for years, seeing people come from Texas, New Jersey, and all over just to support us… that’s the stuff that keeps us going when we’re running on empty.
Small businesses everywhere are fighting to survive right now, and weekends like this remind us why we keep pushing.
These are just a few memories we captured, but trust us… this weekend was one for the books. 🌮✨
Now excuse us while we recover for like… 3 business days.

Yesterday we did something huge. 🙌🏽
Two festivals, a carryout-only restaurant, nonstop prep, long lines, chilly weather, and a whole lot of moving pieces… and this team handled it like absolute pros.
Was it perfect? Nope. We had a few mishaps, the wrong bowl sizes showed up, everybody hit that wall of exhaustion for a second, and there were definitely moments where we looked at each other like “how are we still going?” 😅 But nobody quit. Nobody folded. Everybody stepped in wherever they were needed and kept it moving.
Honestly, it’s been a long time since I’ve felt a team come together like this. Every single person played a role in making yesterday successful, whether you were at Sueños Festival, Forever Mine Festival, or holding it down at Tacotlan.
And seeing customers light up when they found us at the festivals… hearing people say they’ve been waiting all year for our quesabirrias… watching people stand in the cold just to support us… THAT is what keeps us going through the chaos.
Today we start all over again, this time with rain 🌧️😅 but we keep it moving no matter the weather. Rain, shine, cold, exhaustion… we show up anyway.
We’re tired.
We’re grateful.
And we’re just getting started. ❤️🔥🌮
