Seven years ago, what started as a simple mission to create the perfect chicken sandwich for lunch turned into a journey we never could have imagined.
This weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to bring Nash Bros to Tender Fest at Navy Pier, competing alongside some of the biggest names in the chicken game, including Fry the Coop, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Hattie B’s, Roost Chicken & Biscuits, and so many other incredible restaurants.
To think that something we started in a garage seven years ago would one day have us standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the most recognized names in the industry is honestly surreal.
Although we didn’t take home the win, we held the #1 spot for nearly the entire day, and the overwhelming love, feedback, and support we received meant more to us than any trophy ever could.
One of the questions we heard most throughout the event was, “Why don’t you guys have more locations?”
Our answer is simple. We’ve always believed that success isn’t measured by how many locations you have, but by the passion, quality, and consistency you put into the one you do. We’d rather pour our hearts into one restaurant than lose what makes us special chasing ten.
From making sandwiches in a garage for our friends and neighbors to serving thousands alongside some of the best in the business, moments like this remind us why we started.
