Tuesday afternoon: 4pm, we are COMING BACK!

We will need your support to recover from the time lost, and we cannot wait to hear the familiar voices calling in! We have felt your love, and hope you can stick with us as we re-open, and work as hard as we can. We ask that you bare with us, in case we get an overwhelming amount of support. We may take a little longer, but we will be so happy serve each and every one of you guys.

Our dear Nueva Italy/Rogers Park family,
We feel it is necessary to communicate with our people, especially after having clients.. and neighbors check in on us, and making us feel missed- what happened, what is happening, and what is going to happen.

We closed when things got bad.. and unfortunately… things got worse. As you all are well aware, our community has been terrorized, targeted, and plagued for what feels like an eternity now. We have family, friends, loved ones, who are not safe. With, or without legal status. We are scared, we are sad, but most importantly- we are simply heart broken. What happens now? With all the transparency and heart that we have… we can only say- we do not know. There is too much uncertainty. Too much danger. To much terror. Too much harm being done. We have worked too hard to have it taken away in any shape or form. We carry our dignity with us, and it is not for grabs. Thank you to the individuals, the community, and the kind hearts who have expressed their support, and let us know how much they miss us. We wish things were different.. and we wish we could give back what we have offered our neighborhood for so many years. We want to say thank you with our heart in our hands, and remind everyone that we are all human. We are all we have.. a community.. a family. To Rogers Park, to Chicago- we wish safety for all! We hope we can see each other soon. 🤍
