We’re thrilled to kick off the 2026 DJ season, spotlighting exceptional local talent from Chicago. From time to time, we may surprise our guests with appearances by our out-of-state DJ friends.
First up, this man needs no introduction—a true legend who has crafted countless unforgettable musical moments for everyone lucky enough to hear his sets. Our friend, Jesse De La Peña. We’re honored to have him open the season on our patio.
Join us to start the season in style: come through, support the restaurant, bring your drinks, and say hello. If you’re finished dining, please allow others to sit and enjoy their meals.

At Omarcitos Latin Cafe, we are committed to supporting our community and recognize the important role that immigrants, OUR PEOPLE play in our society. We empathize deeply with the concerns regarding the current challenges our communities face, including actions by the evil administrations use of ICE.
As a local, family-owned establishment, Omarcitos Latin Cafe also acknowledges the necessity to balance our solidarity with the practical needs of our valued employees. We have determined that closing our cafe for the general strike would unduly burden our staff, who depend on us for their livelihood. Therefore, we’ve chosen a different path to demonstrate our support.
In a show of solidarity, Omarcitos Latin Cafe will donate 10% of all sales today to the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR), directly contributing to the welfare and support of immigrant communities.
If you are unable to participate in the strike but still wish to show support, remember that small actions can make a significant impact. Choose to shop locally and pay with cash, make a donation to a community fund, wear supportive apparel, use social media to voice your stance, engage in discussions with your representatives, or offer assistance to those who are striking.
