Throwback Thursday 🤍 Thank you so much to the 100 Club of Illinois for inviting Kie-Gol-Lanee to be part of Toast to Hope at Morgan Manufacturing last week!
We were honored to share some of our favorites with guests: chicken enchiladas in our signature red mole and veggie enchiladas in green mole. 🌽
It was wonderful to see first responders and service members honored, while supporting an organization dedicated to caring for their families.

10 years ago, Kie Gol Lanee opened as a small Oaxacan restaurant surrounded by asian eateries and our dear neighbor Big Chicks, not knowing what the future will bring. It was our family’s first restaurant ever but this beautiful community of Uptown welcomed us with open arms!
Today we found out we were listed as part of the 25 best Mexican restaurants by Eater Chicago 🥳
We are extremely thankful for our wonderful clients, for our amazing staff, for all the ups and downs of being in this hardworking industry, and even for the pandemic when the community kept showing up to support us with their take outs and heartwarming notes to stay strong.

To reach the Mexican restaurant on N Sheridan Road in Chicago, take the Red Line CTA train to the Addison station. From there, walk east for about two blocks until you reach N Sheridan Road. Turn right and continue walking for about half a block until you arrive at your destination.
If driving to the restaurant, take Lake Shore Drive and exit at Irving Park Road. Turn onto N Sheridan Road and continue south for about two blocks until you reach your destination. Street parking may be available nearby or there is a parking lot across the street from the restaurant.
