We’re gearing up for our next wine dinner in July 👀 exploring American roots 🇺🇸.

Many think we are “just” an all day café, but what people really don’t know until they come in is simply how talented Chef Andrea is!
A classically trained chef serving up dishes you never would have thought of trying (speaking from experience) but will walk away loving her culinary creations, yearning for more 🤤.
She’s just a kid from LGP , and the master behind events such as our wine dinners.
Come for not just elevated, outstanding food—but an experience. Chef Andrea will be coming up with courses that pair with American wines. Keep your eyes peeled for our next wine dinner in July…you will not leave disappointed!

Next Friday, 6/05/26, we’re celebrating everything that makes La Grange Park special with a full day of community fun, activities, entertainment, and local pride. From morning walks and park adventures to evening performances and neighborhood competitions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

It’s been a week since our wine dinner and did we have so much fun!
Chef Andrea and Kym from the American Wine Society knocked this one out of the park. Carefully curated dishes, all paired with exquisite wines—these two are the real deal.
Keep an eye out for all of our events, but we especially hope to do one of these again soon 👀.

2022 El Suelo (“the soil”) Red Wine Blend. Chef Andrea loves to highlight Michigan wines—so keep your eyes peeled for these delicious regional wines.
Bottled in Fenville, Michigan this is a “highly gulpable” red as Andrea would say. An easy to drink, yet bold with flavor table red. Notes of black plum, cardamom, vanilla, and pairs well with our Steak Frites and your couch! 😉

- Take the Metra BNSF Line to La Grange Road Station.
- Exit the station and head south on La Grange Road.
- Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection of La Grange Road and W Cossitt Ave.
- Turn left onto W Cossitt Ave and continue walking for another 5 minutes.
- The Happier Now Cafe and Market will be on your right.
Option 2: Driving/Parking
- If coming from downtown Chicago, take I-290 W towards Hillside.
- Continue on I-290 W until you reach exit 20A for US-12 S/US-20 S/Harlem Ave.
- Merge onto US-12 S/US-20 S/Harlem Ave and continue driving south for about 3 miles.
- Turn right onto W Cossitt Ave and drive for another mile.
- The Happier Now Cafe and Market will be on your left.
- There is street parking available nearby, as well as a public parking lot located behind the cafe.
