They were known for their homemade pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and salads. The owners, Kim and Anna, frequently posted updates on social media to keep customers informed. In 2022, Kim announced her retirement and offered half-price pizzas as a farewell gesture. Mama & Me Pizza has permanently closed its doors since then.

It is with great pleasure I am announcing my upcoming retirement. It is very bittersweet for I will miss all of you. I have known most of you throughout my 32 years in business and watched your children grow up. A lot of these young people grew up to be my customers and through the years many of them worked for me and I have loved every moment! I hope you will all be happy for me and come in for a last pizza and not a goodbye but a farewell for now. As I have done since the pandemic I will be honoring half-price pizza on pick up and delivery this has been my thank you to all my loyal customers to get us all through a very hard time. We will continue to have a band every Friday night the last night being August 26 which will be my last night in business. I thank homewood and the surrounding areas for all the support throughout my journey. As I said I will not say goodbye just farewell for now see you soon!
