We know everything feels heavy and trying to get through with day-to-day life sometimes feels pointless, with what’s going on around us.
We still need to surround ourselves with joy, support and uplift the good and stand up to injustice. Joy is a form of resistance.
That’s where our compassion separates us, we care deeply for all sentient beings, from the ground up! Let’s remind ourselves of the mission, that little change is still change, let’s plant seeds of hope instead of hate. 🫶🌱 💗

Chicago Native Foods will be closing our doors for good on Friday, November 28.
When we became employee-owned in November 2023, we stepped into that chapter with pride. We showed up for both the vegan and non-vegan communities, hosted events, and celebrated milestones that truly mattered.
But downtown Chicago has changed in ways that directly impacted us. The closure of several nearby businesses and the major shift to work-from-home drastically reduced the foot traffic we rely on. Those challenges made it impossible for us to sustain operations, despite our team’s dedication and effort.
We’re grateful for every customer who supported us, every event you shared with us, and every moment you helped build in this space.
Our final day of service is Friday, November 28.
The good news is our Glendale, CO and Palm Springs, CA locations remain open and continue serving their communities with the same heart and mission.
Thank you for being part of our story.

You read that right — but don’t panic! We’re not closing for good — we’re just choosing to pause on Sundays. 💚
Our team pours their hearts into every plate, and this change gives them one much-needed day to rest, recharge, and reconnect — so we can come back every Monday ready to serve you even better.
