Colomba is a traditional Italian sweet, yeasted bread shaped like a dove (a symbol of peace) and served at Easter, similar to a lighter Panettone. It features a soft, buttery dough, studded with candied orange peel, and is finished with a crunchy almond-sugar icing glaze

Last year, even though it was my first time making it, at Ciro we have been overwhelmed with the request to sell it as whole pie.
Therefore, starting today, you call us at (312) 899-6059 to pre-order your Pastiera di Grano for Easter.
PRE-ORDER ENDS APRIL 1 | 8PM
PICK-UP: APRIL 4 | 11AM-4PM
Pastiera di Grano is a traditional Neapolitan cooked wheat berries pie featuring a thin, delicate pasta frolla (shortcrust pastry) used for both the base and the signature lattice top. Other ingredients include ricotta, fresh farm eggs, sugar, candied orange and aroma millefiori.

We have it! 😃 And as usual, it is a true product of Italy, specifically from Lazio region which is the region of the most iconic Roman dishes such as carbonara and amatriciana 🍝
What is guanciale and why prefer it over bacon? 🥓
Guanciale is a traditional Italian salt-cured pork jowl (cheek) that is rich, savory, and essential for classic dishes like Carbonara and Amatriciana. Cured with salt, pepper, and herbs like rosemary, it’s unsmoked, has more intramuscular fat than pancetta, and renders a silky, flavorful fat when cooked slowly, making it richer and more delicate than bacon!

We are taking a well-deserved winter break ✈️🇮🇹😃
Shop will be back open on Wednesday January 21st at 11am
Because of your continuous support, I am able to grant my staff a substantial rest and to fly home to Italy!
It has been over 10 years since the last time I was able to spend New Year’s Eve at home with my family. This trip will also be an occasion to scout new products and keep supplying Ciro with high end products.

🚨Our NEW hours starting December 1st 🚨
Ciro is getting very popular and dine-in has been a HIT since we launched this option a year ago. Therefore, production volume has been skyrocketing and we are stuck with making the same menu items over and over.
We LOVE YOU but we are getting bored and the right side of the brain, (the artistic side) is complaining highly.
Thus, in order for us to bring excitement into our souls and to thank you our community for the continue support we need to take time to CREATE! And Mondays and Tuesdays are the designed days to do so.
🗣️ Please note dining-in is not available on these two days.
