It was written, Subhan’Allah. 💕
20 years before KHAO was born a note was exchanged between Divya + Osman during class that led to the first act of love for one another and for Thai food. 💕

I remember the first time we met like yesterday. It was at freshmen orientation. Our dear mutual friend introduced us. He told Osman, “hey, this is Divya,” in which Osman responded, “Nice to meet you, Olivia!!” 🙈 I laughed so hard at the way Osman said it, that I don’t remember what was said afterwards. 😅 (fwiw, I knew he was nervous the whole time)
Until this day, I still laugh thinking about it. There really is no one else that can make me laugh the way Osman can, alhamdulilah. 💕

“The first time I saw Divya was at freshman year orientation (UIC. Circle center), on July 31st, 2001. When She walked by me, I knew. I thought to myself, “alright...she is the ONE!” I had to talk to her. I can admit (now) that I was nervous, but I found an excuse to approach her and so I went for it. THAT was the best decision I ever made.”
