A little leadership appreciation post for the people who pour their hearts, energy and plenty of long hours into Lucca. They lead with kindness, creativity and a genuine love for hospitality, setting the tone for everything we do.
Not pictured: Frank D’Angelo and Sonia Hagopian, because getting the entire crew in one photo is nearly impossible. We can’t even manage to get everyone off the phone long enough to take the picture. 😂 We’ll call that dedication to our guests. Cheers to the people behind Lucca. We’re lucky to have this team.

Our 2026 patio dinner series ended on a high note with perfect fall weather, amazing company, and a Bears WIN! The night featured Angel's Envy bourbon, ci**rs from Ralph’s Ci**rs, outstanding live music from Chris Fisher | Illinois Musician, and incredible dishes from the creative mind of Chef Victor. There was beef tartare, maple glazed pork belly, potato gnocchi with short rib ragu, hanger steak with charred broccolini, and a rich chocolate fudge cake with marshmallow cream. Safe to say nobody left hungry!
Big thanks to everyone who joined us, and an equally huge thanks to our hardworking team (from the back of the house to the front) for making last night one to remember.

DJ GIZEP is outside tonight for Lucca Late Night, and we’re not letting a little chill stop the party. Dress warm, grab a drink and meet us on the patio. It may start chilly, but we’ll heat things up pretty quick. 🔥🎶

Did you know...the Negroni was invented in Florence, Italy, around 1919 when Count Camillo Negroni asked a bartender to strengthen his favorite cocktail, the Americano, by replacing soda water with gin. The bartender, Scarselli, used an orange slice instead of the usual lemon peel to signal the stronger drink. Over a century later and it's still a classic we all know and love!
